About Us

Next Step is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of youth leaders from Sugar Land, TX aimed to further STEM knowledge and availability worldwide. Next Step hosts STEM-based courses in programming, mathematics, and science to teach underserved areas about the increasingly important field of STEM. All tax-deductible donations raised from the program are used to help fund STEM access for children with various medical conditions. We utilize a low-price system for our courses, but if a family cannot afford to pay, they can still reach out to us and take our courses for free.

Our Story

Next Step comes from a background in robotics and engineering, with all of our members having strong roots in STEM fields. We all have a burning passion for STEM and regularly use it in our day-to-day lives. From a young age, we have competed in numerous robotics tournaments and are part of a decorated FIRST Tech Challenge team that has gone to the World Semi-Finals numerous times. We have numerous accolades and are in the upper echelon of FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams.

Co-Founder

Pranav Pulluru is a Co-Founder of Next Step STEM and is from Fulshear, TX. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, freestyle roller skating, playing soccer, and programming.

Kavish Mehta is a Co-Founder of Next Step STEM and is based out of Sugar Land, TX. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, programming, CAD, and listening to music.
